Web sites which are popular with visitors contain unique content. The question is what makes a web site popular? The answer depends on how you convey your ideas, if I was tell you that the sky shall be appear red tommorrow, anyone reading this description is highly likely to read more on this topic, simply because it sounds interesting. Unique ideas are simply one selling point, the other is how well your web site ranks on search engines. It is quite casual when searching on Google, the first few pages are enough before you change your mind. Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is becoming a more familiar term today especially when people are now asking the same question: Why is my web site not on the first page on Google? But how complex is SEM, it takes years of experience in knowing exactly what SEM is all about. Reading through blogs and forums misleads people with a different understanding each time. SEM is in fact all about building good quality back links to your web site, and I mean "good quality links" this is the underlying key to successful internet marketing. How you create the back links does not matter whether its directories, blogs or social book marking. The best strategy is to always produce a clear and concise business plan before starting any web site or employing SEM.
